ShipInfo Terms of Service
These terms are a public v1 for website use, product evaluation and B2B discussions. Formal commercial terms may be agreed separately in writing.
1. Service scope
ShipInfo provides maritime information pages, vessel and fleet search, maps, analytics, event views and related data interfaces for business analysis, research and situational awareness.
2. Informational use only
ShipInfo data and analytics are not navigation instructions, safety-critical systems, legal advice, sanctions advice, financial advice, insurance advice or guaranteed real-time operational data.
3. Data accuracy
Maritime datasets can contain gaps, delays, errors, stale records and third-party inconsistencies. ShipInfo may correct, remove, reprocess or reclassify data at any time.
4. Acceptable use
Users must not misuse the site, overload infrastructure, bypass access controls, scrape at abusive rates, resell restricted data without permission, or use the service for unlawful activity.
5. B2B agreements
Paid B2B access, custom datasets, API access, uptime commitments, support terms, data delivery obligations and refunds should be governed by a written agreement or invoice terms. Those agreed terms override this public page where they conflict.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShipInfo is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. The operator is not liable for business decisions made solely from unverified ShipInfo outputs.
