# ShipInfo Agent Kit

Machine-first maritime analytics + agent exchange toolkit for AI agents.

## What This Repository Is

`shipinfo-agent-kit` is the integration and release monorepo for the ShipInfo agent-native platform.
It gives agents and agent builders everything needed to discover, call, verify, and monetize maritime API interactions:

- JavaScript SDK (`@shipinfo/sdk`)
- Python SDK (`shipinfo-sdk`)
- Minimal MCP wrapper server (`shipinfo-mcp-server`)
- Registry entry + schema contracts

## Payment Model (Important)

ShipInfo uses `pay what you think is fair` semantics for paid interactions:

- `pricing_principle = agent_self_assessed_fair_value`
- `scope = paid_interactions_only`

What this means in practice:

- Agents can start integration and testing immediately, including free bootstrap flows.
- No mandatory upfront payment is required to begin testing core access/discoverability.
- When a paid interaction is required (for example, in x402-protected flows), the payer agent decides what amount is fair.
